The Role

The
Sales Coordinator provides essential coordination, administrative, and sales
support to the Sales team, contributing to the successful market entry and brand
positioning of Mandarin Oriental Makati. This role requires strong
organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support multiple
sales segments in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.


Key Responsibilities

Sales Support &
Coordination

  • Provide day-to-day administrative
    and operational support to Sales Managers and Sales Leadership.
  • Assist
    in the preparation of sales proposals, contracts, rate agreements, and client
    presentations.
  • Coordinate client site inspections, sales calls,
    and appointments.
  • Support follow-up activities with clients to ensure
    timely responses and documentation.

Pre-opening & Systems
Support

  • Assist in building and maintaining sales
    databases, account profiles, and contact lists during pre-opening.

  • Ensure accurate and timely input of sales activities, leads, and bookings
    into the CRM system.
  • Support pre-opening tasks such as sales collateral
    development, brand presentations, and internal readiness.

Internal & Client Coordination

  • Liaise
    with Revenue, Reservations, Events, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure
    coordinated sales efforts.
  • Support the processing of group inquiries,
    rooming lists, contracts, and billing documentation.
  • Ensure all sales
    documentation complies with hotel policies and Mandarin Oriental brand
    standards.

Reporting & Administration


  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and activity summaries
    as required.
  • Maintain organized filing systems for contracts,
    correspondence, and sales records.
  • Assist in tracking account
    production and supporting Sales Managers with performance data.

Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related
    field.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in hotel sales, sales
    coordination, or a related role.
  • Strong administrative,
    organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft
    Office; experience with CRM or hotel sales systems preferred.
  • Ability
    to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.
