is an upcoming 5-star luxury hotel set within the lush Ayala Triangle Gardens,

Scheduled to open in 2026, this landmark development will feature 275 elegantly
appointed guestrooms and suites, offering a refined blend of contemporary design
and timeless sophistication. Guests will enjoy an exceptional array
of world-class amenities, including a curated selection of restaurants,
a stylish bar, a serene pool area, and the brand’s signature spa. Designed to
be a sanctuary in the heart of the city, the hotel promises an elevated
experience for both leisure and business travelers seeking comfort, excellence,
and distinction in Manila.

The Role

The
Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene,
and overall presentation of guest rooms and assigned areas to the highest
standards of Mandarin Oriental. This role ensures that every guest room provides
a comfortable, luxurious, and welcoming environment, reflecting the brand’s
legendary service philosophy.

In a pre-opening environment, the Room
Attendant plays a critical role in preparing guest rooms, learning brand
standards, and supporting the hotel’s readiness for opening.


Key Responsibilities

Guest Room Cleaning &
Maintenance

  • Clean and service guest rooms, suites, and assigned
    areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
  • Ensure
    beds are properly made, linens are fresh, and amenities are replenished

  • Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, fixtures, furniture, and floors

  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly

  • Ensure all equipment and supplies are used properly and efficiently

Guest Experience & Service

  • Uphold Mandarin Oriental’s
    philosophy of intuitive and anticipatory service
  • Respect guest privacy
    and follow “Do Not Disturb” procedures strictly
  • Respond promptly
    and courteously to guest requests when encountered
  • Ensure guest
    preferences and special requests are followed accurately
  • Present
    a professional appearance and maintain a positive demeanor at all times

Pre-Opening Responsibilities

  • Participate in training
    sessions, SOP briefings, and service culture programs
  • Support room
    setup, deep cleaning, and preparation for opening
  • Take part in mock
    operations, inspections, and simulation exercises
  • Assist in organizing
    linen rooms, pantries, and storage areas
  • Demonstrate flexibility
    in supporting other housekeeping tasks as needed

Linen & Supplies
Management

  • Properly handle, sort, and store linens and towels

  • Maintain par levels of guest supplies and amenities in assigned areas

  • Report shortages or discrepancies to the Supervisor
  • Ensure proper
    use and storage of cleaning materials and chemicals

Coordination &
Communication

  • Communicate regularly with Housekeeping Supervisors
    regarding room status
  • Coordinate with Front Office on room readiness
    and guest requests
  • Report lost and found items according to hotel
    procedures
  • Ensure accurate updates of room status (clean, dirty,
    inspected, etc.)

Safety & Compliance

  • Follow all
    health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Use cleaning chemicals
    and equipment safely and responsibly
  • Report hazards, accidents,
    or unsafe conditions immediately
  • Adhere to hotel policies, procedures,
    and brand standards

Qualifications &
Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality
    training preferred
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning
    services is an advantage (luxury hotel experience preferred)
  • Physically
    fit and able to perform cleaning duties and lift items as required

  • Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques and hygiene standards
  • Good
    communication skills; basic English proficiency required
