The Role


Supports Sales and Events teams in driving market entry and brand positioning
of Mandarin Oriental Makati. Ensures smooth execution of sales activities
and event operations in a fast-paced pre-opening environment.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Catering Support


  • Provide comprehensive coordination and operational support to Sales &
    Catering leadership, ensuring smooth execution of daily activities.
  • Act
    as a trusted liaison between clients and internal departments, capturing
    and communicating event requirements with precision.
  • Manage walk-in
    inquiries and conduct site inspections in the absence of managers, maintaining
    a professional and welcoming client experience.
  • Prepare high-quality
    proposals, contracts, rate agreements, and client presentations for DOS
    and DOCE, reinforcing brand standards.
  • Collaborate proactively
    with Revenue, Reservations, Finance, and Operations teams to align sales
    strategies with operational delivery.

Pre-opening & Systems
Support

  • Contribute to the establishment of robust sales and events
    infrastructure by building and maintaining databases, account profiles,
    and contact lists.
  • Ensure accurate and timely input of leads, bookings,
    and sales activities into Delphi, supporting data integrity and effective
    pipeline management.
  • Assist in the development of sales collateral,
    brand presentations, and readiness initiatives, playing a key role
    in positioning Mandarin Oriental Makati for a successful market entry.

  • Support cross-functional pre-opening tasks to ensure operational readiness
    and alignment with brand standards.

Reporting & Administration


  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and activity summaries to support
    strategic decision-making and performance tracking.
  • Maintain organized
    filing systems for contracts, correspondence, and event documentation, ensuring
    easy access and compliance with audit standards.
  • Monitor account
    production and provide Sales Managers with performance data, enabling proactive
    account management and revenue optimization.
  • Uphold administrative
    excellence by streamlining processes and ensuring accuracy across all reporting
    and documentation functions.

Qualifications &
Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business,
    Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of hotel sales
    experience
  • Pre-opening hotel experience is an advantage.

  • Strong administrative, organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft office; experience with CRM or hotel sales systems
    preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy
    and discretion
