Job Description

Purpose of Position

As Director of Engineering you will be responsible
for hotel maintenance, technical projects, asset management, energy efficiency,
Fire Life Health Safety Security & Environment (FLHSSE), budget control,
and leading the Engineering team. Reporting directly to General Manager.


We are looking for:

  • Proven experience in a senior Engineering
    or Technical Services leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of building
    systems, preventive maintenance, technical operations and safety standards.

  • Experience managing budgets, utility costs, projects, contractors
    and maintenance programes.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability
    to develop and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving,
    organizational and communication skills.
  • A responsible, hands-on
    and guest-focused approach.
  • Knowledge of local statutory requirements
    and Czech technical/safety regulations would be an advantage.

The
successful candidate should be able to:

  • Lead a technical team
    with professionalism, structure and care.
  • Balance daily operational
    needs with long-term asset protection.
  • Manage preventive maintenance,
    repairs, renovations and technical projects.
  • Work confidently
    with budgets, utilities, contractors and external partners.
  • Ensure full
    compliance with health, safety, fire life safety, security and environmental
    standards.
  • Communicate effectively with hotel leadership, colleagues,
    owners’ representatives and external suppliers.
  • Support a positive team
    culture through regular communication, training and development.
