About the job

The Bar Manager is responsible
for the overall management and daily operations of the hotel bar, ensuring
exceptional guest experiences, outstanding beverage quality, and strong
financial performance. This role leads the bar team, drives service excellence,
develops innovative beverage offerings, and maintains compliance with hotel
policies, brand standards, and safety regulations. The Bar Manager is expected
to create a vibrant and engaging atmosphere while maximizing guest satisfaction
and profitability.

As Bar Manager, you will be responsible
for the following duties:

  • Oversee the daily operations
    of the Bar, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, service excellence
    and compliance with hotel standards.
  • Lead, develop and motivate the bar
    team to deliver outstanding beverage service and achieve departmental
    goals.
  • Maintain a strong presence during operating hours to ensure
    beverage quality, service consistency and guest satisfaction.
  • Drive
    revenue growth through beverage promotions, seasonal offerings, upselling
    initiatives and special events.
  • Monitor sales performance, beverage
    costs, labor costs and inventory levels to achieve financial targets.

  • Ensure all beverages are prepared, presented and served in accordance
    with brand and operational standards.
  • Handle guest feedback
    and complaints professionally, ensuring prompt resolution and service
    recovery.
  • Conduct regular training to enhance product knowledge,
    mixology skills and service standards.
  • Ensure compliance with liquor
    licensing regulations, HACCP requirements, hygiene standards and workplace
    safety procedures.
  • Maintain effective stock control, purchasing
    and inventory management to minimize waste and maximize profitability.

  • Collaborate closely with Culinary, Restaurants, Events, Sales & Marketing
    and other hotel departments to support business objectives.
  • Support VIP
    functions, promotions and special projects as required by management.

As Bar Manager, we expect from you

  • Diploma
    or Degree in Hospitality Management, Food & Beverage Management, or a related
    field.
  • Minimum 3 years of bar management experience in a luxury hotel,
    upscale bar, or international hospitality brand.
  • Strong knowledge
    of wines, spirits, cocktails and beverage operations.
  • Proven
    leadership, communication and guest service skills.
  • Sound understanding
    of revenue management, cost control and inventory management.
  • Good
    command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
  • Passionate about
    creating memorable guest experiences with a proactive and positive
    attitude.
