SALES ADMINISTRATOR

About the job

Based at
the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Sales & Commerce Department
in Kuala Lumpur, the Sales Administrator is responsible to executes all personal
and business administrative requirement of the Director of Commercial Strategy
and provides administrative assistance to the department as required.

The Sales Administrator reports to the Director of Commercial
Strategy.

As Sales Administrator, you will be responsible
for the following duties:

  • To handle administrative
    and secretarial function of the Director of Commercial Strategy and the Sales &
    Commerce team.

  • To learn and master all functions of Sales &
    Commerce systems

  • Prepare files and documents for periodic
    meetings chaired or attended by the Director of Commercial Strategy and
    the department

  • Handle communication with clients on behalf
    of sales personnel or in their absence

  • Ensure of overall
    secretarial/ administration task in the Sales & Commerce office are well
    understood and followed up

  • Performs all duties
    and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance
    with established Mandarin Oriental policies to achieve the overall objectives
    of the position

  • Establishes and maintains effective employee
    relations

  • Maintains the highest standards of professionalism,
    ethics and attitude toward all hotel guests, clients and associates


As Sales Administrator, we expect from you:

  • Minimum Secondary Education and formal secretarial
    training

  • Minimum 4 years of working experience


  • Computer literate

  • Strong business communication
    and selling skills
