is looking for a Sales Coordinator – Conference, Meetings and Banqueting to join
our Sales and Commerce team.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin
Oriental Kuala Lumpur / within the Sales and Commerce Department in Kuala
Lumpur, the Sales Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative
and sales support to the Sales and Commerce Department to ensure efficient
operations and achievement of revenue goals.

The Sales Coordinator reports to the Director of Sales / Senior Sales Manager /
Sales Manager.

As Sales Coordinator, you will be responsible
for the following duties:

  • To assist Sales Managers to seek
    and development of new potential accounts through direct enquiries, Sales Leads
    – local and overseas, Sales Blitz follow up

  • To ensure all local
    enquiries within 6 hours and overseas enquiries within 24 hours


  • To review daily arrival, to be fully aware of clients’ / group presence
    in the hotel and help when necessary

  • To follow up on all
    tentative and prospect group bookings for on behalf Managers


As Sales Coordinator, we expect from you:


  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel and Business
    administration or equivalent

  • Be able to problem-solve, create
    and maintain schedules, be both a prepared and is a flexible person


  • Pleasant personality, able to work with minimum supervision. has positive
    attitude, details and most importantly a team player
