TECHNICIAN 1

for a Technician 1 to join our Engineering team.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin
Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Engineering Department in Kuala Lumpur,
the Technician 1 is responsible to perform technical, maintenance, and repair
tasks to support daily operational requirements and corrective maintenance
in all areas of responsibilities within the hotel.

The Technician 1 reports to the Chief Engineer / Director
of Engineering.

As Tech. 1, you will be responsible for
the following duties:

  • Perform routine maintenance,
    inspections, and repairs on equipment, tools, or facility systems.


  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and escalate complex problems
    to senior technicians.

  • Support installation, setup, and testing
    of equipment and machinery.

  • Ensure all work is completed
    in compliance with safety standards and company procedures.


  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance logs, and parts
    used.

  • Assist in monitoring inventory of tools, spare parts,
    and materials.

  • Respond to service requests and provide timely
    support to internal teams.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized,
    and safe always.

  • Participate in training to develop technical
    skills and knowledge.

  • Perform any other related duties
    as assigned by the supervisor.

As Tech. 1, we expect
from you:

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned
    by the supervisor.

  • Possess a certificate or diploma
    in electrical/ mechanical/ facilities

  • Basic understanding
    of maintenance, electrical, or mechanical systems.


  • Able to analyse any malfunction of all mechanical equipment used in
    the Hotel

  • Ability to write routine reports, keep logs
    and correspondence
