About the job
Based at the Mandarin
Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Rooms Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Rising
Fan – Leader in Training (Rooms) will rotate through Rooms Division Departments:
Front Office, Concierge, Housekeeping, Laundry and Guest Relations.
The Rising Fan – Leader in Training (Rooms) reports to the Director
of Rooms/Front Office Manager.
As Rising Fan – Leader
in Training (Rooms), you will be responsible for the following duties:
Conducts daily briefing as per hotel standards covering
the points highlighted in the morning briefings.
Assist
in conducting comprehensive audit standard.
Assists to prepare
effective duty roster to ensure sufficiency of manpower in accordance
with volume of business.
Development of new Rooms processes
and involved in Rooms preparation.
Communicates effectively
with guests, subordinates, immediate superior and other colleagues both verbally
and in writing as per company standards.
As Rising
Fan – Leader in Training (Rooms), we expect from you:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management
Minimum 3 – 6 months’ internship experience in Food & Beverage
Good computer knowledge and typing skills
