About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona within the Food & Beverage Department,
the Hostess is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations,
and ensuring a smooth and personalized dining experience from arrival
to departure.

The Hostess reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As Hostess,
you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Welcoming
  guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Managing
  reservations and coordinating table seating efficiently.
• Ensuring
  optimal guest flow and minimizing waiting times.
• Maintaining clear
  communication with the service and kitchen team.
• Personalizing guest
  experiences and handling special requests.
• Maintaining cleanliness
  and organization of the reception area.

As Hostess,
we expect from you:

• Strong interpersonal and communication
  skills.
• Excellent grooming and presentation.
• Highly
  responsible and reliable.
• Ability to work under pressure in
  a fast-paced environment.
• A team player with a multicultural
  mindset.
• Strong focus on guest satisfaction, always remaining calm
  and courteous.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably
  in luxury hospitality.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are
  a plus.
