im Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern und Mandarin Oriental Savoy,
Zürich.

Als Cluster
Reservation Agent sind Sie für die folgenden Aufgaben für das
Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern und das Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zürich
verantwortlich:

• Fachgerechte Annahmen und Bearbeitung von
  Reservierungsanfragen sowie die Bearbeitung von Gruppenanfragen mit unserer
  Hotelsoftware

• Annahme der eingehenden internen und externen
  Anrufe

• Bearbeitung von VIP- und Stammgastbuchungen unter
  Berücksichtigung besonderer Wünsche und Präferenzen

• Erstellung
  von Angeboten für Gruppen- und Individualbuchungen und die Kontrolle unter
  Einhaltung der Verfalls- und Stornofristen

• Kontrolle,
  Bearbeitung und Ablage der eingehenden Reservierungskorrespondenz




• Effiziente Kommunikation und Kooperation mit den Abteilungen Front Office
  und Sales & Marketing

Als Cluster Reservation Agent
erwarten wir von Ihnen:

• Eine abgeschlossene
  Ausbildung als Hotelfachmann/-frau, Hotelkaufmann/-frau oder
  Reiseverkehrskaufmann/-frau. Erfahrung in der Reservierungsabteilung in einer
  ähnlichen Position

• Fundierte EDV-Kenntnisse, idealerweise
  HMS

• Freundliches, zuvorkommendes, sicheres Auftreten am Telefon
  und im Direktkontakt mit den Gästen

• Ausgeprägter verkaufs- und
  umsatzorientierter Arbeitsstil sowie Verhandlungsgeschick




• Organisationstalent, exzellente Umgangsformen und ein gepflegtes Äusseres
  

• Kommunikationsstärke, sowohl schriftlich als auch mündlich
  

• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, weitere
  Fremdsprachen von Vorteil

About
the job

The Cluster Reservation Agent is part of the Reservations
Department and is responsible for handling all reservation-related activities
for both Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern and Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich.
This includes managing guest bookings, processing inquiries, ensuring accurate
and up-to-date data entry in the reservation systems, and providing a high level
of customer service at all times.

Cluster Reservation Agent,
you will be responsible for the following tasks at the Mandarin Oriental Palace,
Lucerne, and the Mandarin Oriental Savoy, Zurich:

• Handling
  all reservation requests as well as the group requests with our hotel software
  

• Receiving and answering the incoming calls from extern
  and intern

• Processing of VIP and regular guest bookings while
  considering special wishes and preferences

• Preparing offers
  for group and individual bookings complying with the expiry and cancellation
  deadlines

• Checking, processing and filing of incoming
  reservation correspondence

• Communicating and collaborating
  closely with the Front Office as well as the Sales & Marketing departments
  across both properties

As Cluster Reservation Agent
we expect from you:

• A completed apprenticeship
  as a hotel specialist, hotel clerk or travel agent. Experience in
  the reservations department in a similar position

• In-depth
  computer skills, ideally HMS, Infor and Banqueting Delphi

• A
  friendly, courteous, confident appearance on the phone and in direct contact
  with the guests

• A strong sales- and turnover-oriented working
  style as well as negotiation skills

• Organization skills,
  excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance

• Strong
  communication skills, both written and oral

• Very good German
  and English skills, other foreign languages are an advantage
