team.

About
the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou, within
the Commercial Department in Guangzhou, the Director of Sales responsible
for directing the hotel sales team in achieving the rooms revenue goals as laid
out in the hotel Marketing Plan as well as taking responsibility for all rooms
sales, solicitation of new business and implementing sales action plans set
forth in the Marketing Plan. This role reports to Director of Commercial
Strategy.

As Director of Sales, we expect
from you
:

  • Degree or Diploma in Hospitality
    Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years in the hotel industry, luxury hotel
    experience is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills in Mandarin
    and English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Corporate
    markets.
  • Knowledge of Travel agent sales.
  • A computer
    literate.
  • Strong social skills.
  • Strong organize skills.

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Strong writing and oral presentation
    skills.
