We are looking for a Doorman to join our Team at Mandarin Oriental Savoy,
Zurich.

renovated event facilities, including a grand historic
ballroom.


About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental
Savoy, Zurich within the Concierge Department in Zurich, the Doorman supports
the Bell Team in daily tasks, ensuring seamless operations throughout the shift.
The Doorman reports to the Head Concierge and Front of House
Manager.


As Doorman, you will be responsible for the following
tasks:

  • Assisting guests on arrival by opening car doors for
    them and escorting them to the front office
  • Be present at the Lobby
    and support the Team operationally
  • Delivering luggage at check-in
    and removing luggage from guest rooms at check-out
  • Secure parking
    of guest vehicles
  • Being an ambassador of the hotel, both being actively
    engaging with guests and with colleagues
  • Understands and follows all
    applicable standards, both in terms of quality, sustainability and FLHSS of
    the Rooms Division, policies and rules
  • Actively advertises our Fans
    of MO guest recognition program to our guests

As Doorman,
we expect from you:

  • A minimum of 1 year of Door or Bell
    experience
  • Driver’s license
  • Sense of responsibility, teamwork,
    organizational skills and good time management
  • Communication skills -
    guests will come to you with both complaints and positive feedback

  • Flexibility and resilience - your position will include weekend and holiday
    shifts
  • Excellent manners, approachable and well-groomed appearance,
    as well as a positive charisma
  • Excellent knowledge of German
    and English. Other foreign languages are an advantage
  • Successful
    applicants must have the right to work in Switzerland
