As a Breakfast Hostess at Mandarin
Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:
Welcome and seat guests in a warm, professional, and courteous
manner, ensuring an exceptional first impression and allocating tables according
to reservations and guest preferences.
Manage restaurant reservations using OpenTable, handling
bookings, special requests, VIP guests, and maintaining accurate guest records
to deliver a personalised experience.
Coordinate the restaurant floor, working closely with managers
and the service team to ensure tables are prepared, guest flow is managed
efficiently, and service runs smoothly.
Deliver outstanding guest service by responding promptly
to enquiries, resolving guest concerns professionally, and ensuring every guest
leaves satisfied.
Maintain high
presentation standards by keeping the reception area, menus, and entrance
immaculate while supporting the team with opening/closing duties and upholding
Mandarin Oriental's luxury service standards.
As a Breakfast Hostess, you will be working on
a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week.
Shifts begin at 5:30am (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility
is required where applicable.
To be a successful
Breakfast Hostess candidate, you must have previous experience in a food
and beverage setting. You will be an enthusiastic leader, with excellent
organisational skills and a passion for hospitality.
