About the job

Based
at the Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai within the Reservations Department,
The Assistant Cluster Revenue Manager reports to the Director of Revenue
Strategy.

As the Assistant Cluster Revenue Manager, you will
be responsible for the following duties:

  • Revenue Strategy &
    Performance Assist the Director of Revenue Strategy in developing and executing
    revenue optimization and commercial strategies across assigned hotels.

  • Monitor daily pick-up, pace, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, market share
    and profitability performance to identify risks and opportunities.

  • Support the development of strategic initiatives that drive Rooms, Total
    Revenue and Market Share growth.
  • Support the preparation of short-term
    and long-term forecasts, budgets and annual business plans.
  • Conduct
    demand analysis and recommend pricing strategies to maximize hotel revenues
    and profitability.
  • Analyze competitor pricing, market conditions
    and industry trends to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Prepare
    and distribute daily, weekly, monthly and ad-hoc performance reports.

  • Participate in weekly Commercial Strategy and Execution Meetings, presenting
    analysis and strategic recommendations.

Commercial
Collaboration

  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations,
    Front Office and other operational departments to align commercial
    objectives.
  • Support the Director of Revenue Strategy in evaluating
    transient, corporate, wholesale and group business opportunities.

  • Participate in promotional planning, distribution strategies and market
    positioning initiatives.
  • Ensure revenue strategies, pricing decisions
    and demand forecasts are effectively communicated across departments.

Operational Excellence

  • Complete special projects and other
    assignments as delegated by the Director of Revenue Strategy and Hotel
    Management.

As the Director of Revenue Strategy we expect
from you:

- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business
Administration, Finance, Economics
or related discipline
preferred.

Work experience:

· Minimum 2–3 years of experience
in
Revenue Management, Revenue Analysis, or Commercial Strategy within
luxury
hospitality.

· Previous experience supporting
multiple
properties or cluster commercial functions is preferred.

Job
knowledge:

· Strong understanding of hotel revenue management principles
and
practices.

· Knowledge of forecasting, pricing and inventory
optimization techniques.

· Experience with Revenue Management Systems
(e.g. IDeaS, D360/A360, Lighthouse,
etc.).

· Strong knowledge of hotel
distribution channels, GDS, OTA and CRS
platforms.

· Advanced Microsoft
Excel skills including Pivot Tables, Power Query and
financial
modeling.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability
to interpret data and translate insights into
actionable
recommendations.

· Excellent communication and presentation
skills.

· Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.
