Culture team.

About the job

Based at
the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the People & Culture Department
in Kuala Lumpur, the People & Culture Officer / Executive is responsible for
the day-to-day People & Culture operations and functions.

Assist in all administrative and clerical duties. The People & Culture Officer /
Executive reports to the Director of People & Culture / Assistant Director
of People & Culture / P&C Manager.

As People & Culture
Officer/Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Handles all colleagues’ enquiries and when necessary, direct
    them to the right person-in-charge for further assistance


  • Handles all phone enquiries about job vacancies in a professional,
    courteous, and ethical manner

  • Prepare contracts for new
    colleagues

  • Maintains up-to-date employees’ individual personal
    files in an orderly filing system

  • Administration of all
    the documentation regarding any personnel action effected for employees
    from Supervisory level and below

  • Manages lockers administration
    and maintain stock for the First Aid items

  • Assists in
    the documentation of work permits, employment passes and related
    documents

  • Input and updating of personal data of existing
    colleagues in the People & Culture System daily

  • Being actively
    involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing
    the hiring process

As People & Culture
Officer/Executive, we expect from you:

  • Diploma
    in Hospitality Management

  • Minimum 2 years of hotel experience
    in People & Culture or equivalent

  • Ability to communicate
    fluently in English Language and Bahasa Malaysia with internal and external
    customers alike
