About
the job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich the Security Manager
is responsible for all security-related functions of our hotel. The Security
Manager reports to the Hotel Manager.
As Security Manager,
you will responsible for the following duties:
- Leading
and developing all security and FLHSS (Fire, Life, Health, Safety & Security)
activities within the hotel. - Ensuring compliance with all Mandarin
Oriental FLHSS standards, policies, and legal requirements. - Conducting
regular risk assessments, audits, and security inspections. - Leading
the Emergency Response Team and planning and conducting training sessions, staff
education programs, and emergency drills. - Managing incident management
processes, including the investigation, documentation, and follow-up
of security-related incidents. - Overseeing all security-related systems,
including access control, CCTV, and key management. - Working closely
with authorities, emergency services, and external partners. - Advising
and supporting managers and employees on all security and compliance-related
matters.
As Security Manager, we expect from
you:
- Several years of experience in security management,
ideally within luxury hospitality or a comparable service-oriented
environment. - Strong expertise in FLHSS, crisis management, fire safety,
and occupational health and safety. - Excellent written and spoken German
and English language skills. - Outstanding communication
and organizational abilities. - A high level of service orientation,
integrity, and discretion. - A confident and professional demeanor,
with the ability to remain calm, solution-oriented, and effective in challenging
situations.
