Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conducts minimum of eight (8) required sales calls
daily to corporate accounts. • Submits daily / weekly sales call reports to
the Director of Sales – Japanese Accounts. • Submits weekly / monthly
assigned special project to the Director of Sales – Japanese Accounts.
• Assists in the preparation of the Marketing Plan. • Assists in the preparation
of the three (3) month forecast. • Procures new and repeat business for
the hotel by maintaining contact with corporate accounts within the Philippines
through: • Personal sales calls • Written communications, i.e. direct mail
within the hotel’s targeted market areas • Assists the Director of Sales
– Japanese Accounts in determining market needs for the preparation
of market programs targeted to the corporate market. • Ensures that the sales
and marketing mailing lists, Christmas list, birthday list, are continually
updated. • Assists the Director of Sales – Japanese Accounts
in maintaining a master list of corporate accounts and ensures that this
is regularly updated. • Prepares proposals, contracts and other correspondences
to corporate accounts. • Gathers and conducts follow up on sales leads. •
Provides feedback on the changing marketing conditions, trends of competitors. •
Participates in sales activities organized by the sales department. •
Communicates client needs to other departments when necessary. • Assists
in handling Christmas giveaways to corporate accounts. • Assists in organizing
client socials and parties. • Attends hotel socials and entertains clients
in hotel outlets on a regular basis. • Participates in the weekly sales
and marketing meeting. • Generates leads for other Dusit properties. • Assists
in the promotion of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets and banquet
facilities. • Maintains the highest standards of professionalism, ethics
and attitude towards all hotel guests, clients, staff and employees. • Performs
related duties and special projects assigned.
