Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES • Maintains and updates record of media, journalists
mailing list • Maintains a record on former and existing clients (mailing list)
• Assists in any liaison and internal meetings during an absent of Marketing
Director / Manager • Responsible for distribution of English and Thai press
releases • Reports immediately to Director of Marketing / Marketing Manager
of important news as well as major competitors news that receives cover in
the media • Send update news for English and Thai in Lobby Magazine by sending
to the Corporate Communications, Corporate Office • Attend internal and external
social events • Translates English to Thai and vice versa on all important news
and press clippings • To arrange press conference and press interviews as
and when required • Handles correspondence when required • Handles press
releases, suitable news and photographs for PR exposure • Prepares news
publicity for MIS report • Updates news releases/comparisons amongst other
hotels monthly • Writes copy for F & B promotional materials in both
English and Thai • Maintains regular schedules for press visits and visits
to clients • Draws up the PR action and advertising plan for the entertainment
complex with Director of Communication • Closely coordinate social events
with the Event Manager in the entertainment complex • Entertain guests
as assigned by Director of Marketing Training and Human Resources • Ensure
wherever possible that employees are provided with a work place free
of discrimination, harassment and victimisation. • Treat complaints
of harassment and discrimination promptly and confidentially. • Treat customers
and colleagues from all cultural groups with respect and sensitivity. • Identify
and deal with issues which may cause cross cultural conflict
or misunderstanding. Technical Responsibilities • Keep well informed about
the various outlets in the hotel • Closely observes matters pertaining to PR
activities of the hotel and other hotels competitors entertainment outlets on
a regular basis • Sets in conjunction with Director of Marketing
and Communication the PR strategy of the hotel Social Relations • Ensure optimum
publicity is created for all major happenings in the hotel • Assists Director
of Communication in preparing in-house bulletins, newsletter and guest
information • Organises both Social & PR Activities internally
and externally • Assists Director of Marketing in the preparation and selection
of all printed literature’s, sales tools and give-aways of the hotel • Prepares
news releases of events for the hotel External • Maintains close contact
and rapport with local media and the regional trade press • Assist Director
of Marketing to handle media relations and photo shooting for maximum exposure.
Miscellaneous • Coordinate with other departments to ensure the smooth operation
of the job functions • The Assistant Marketing Manager performs her duties
within the framework defined by the chain and hotel norms and by internal rules
and regulations. • The Assistant Marketing Manager may be called upon
to undertake activities outside her own area to publicize hotels other than
her own for specific programs • To assist the Director Marketing in the opening
of/or general PR efforts of the hotels in the chain • All staff are required
to comply with every reasonable request from their hierarchical supervisor(s)
within an amount of time that it takes to comply under normal circumstances. •
All staff may be assigned to other duties in the hotel as and when required
by business levels. OTHERS • Continuous learning through own IDP. • Any other

or after employment with the company. JOB REQUIREMENT • Minimum education
of Bachelor degree in Public Relation, Business Administration, Marketing
or relevant disciplines • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in 5 star hotel •
Have excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Japanese •
Result-Oriented.

Have a positive attitude toward challenges and the drive to excel • Possesses
professional disposition with excellent communication and interpersonal
