Assistant Director of Engineering – Operations

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Lead and oversee engineering design and technical
service activities across hotel projects and developments. • Provide technical
guidance and consultation to project teams and stakeholders. • Collaborate
closely with operations and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth
coordination. • Review and monitor MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing)
system designs for new developments, renovations, and conversion projects. •
Oversee engineering projects from planning through completion. • Ensure all
maintenance and engineering activities comply with safety, environmental,
and regulatory standards. • Develop and implement preventive maintenance
programs to maximize equipment performance and minimize downtime. • Prepare
and manage engineering budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities. • Monitor
project expenses while maintaining quality and safety standards. • Coordinate
with vendors and contractors to ensure timely project delivery. • Support
contract negotiations and service agreements with external partners. • Provide
technical expertise and recommend new technologies or equipment improvements. •
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and safety
guidelines. • Prepare reports on engineering performance, project progress,
budgets, and KPIs. • Support pre-opening engineering activities, including SOP
implementation and training. • Participate in audits and ensure action plans
are effectively completed. • Foster effective communication with internal
stakeholders and external business partners. OTHERS • Continuous learning

with the company. JOB REQUIREMENT • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
or equivalent qualification in: – Electrical Engineering –
Mechanical Engineering • Minimum 10 years of experience in hotel engineering,
including leadership experience such as: -Director of Engineering -Chief
Engineer -Similar management role • Experience in multi-property or cluster
operations is an advantage. • Strong leadership and people management skills. •
Excellent project management and organizational skills. • Strong knowledge
of engineering regulations, standards, and safety requirements. • Ability
to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions. • Good
communication skills in English and Thai. • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder
management skills.
