Key Duties &
Responsibilities

find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and team members. Within
this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Manage
    the day-to-day Front Office operations, ensuring exceptional guest service,
    operational efficiency, and achievement of departmental financial
    objectives.
  • Develop and implement departmental budgets,
    strategic initiatives, and training plans aligned with the resort's business
    goals.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate the Front Office
    team to deliver consistent service excellence and maintain high performance
    standards.
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, Standard
    Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality assurance
    requirements.
  • Oversee guest arrivals, departures, VIP
    handling, special requests, and guest recognition to deliver personalized
    and memorable experiences.
  • Drive revenue through effective
    room upselling, promotional initiatives, and participation in loyalty and guest
    recognition programmes.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of
    the Property Management System (PMS), Front Office systems, resort facilities,
    room categories, and guest services.
  • Coordinate closely
    with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage, Guest Relations, and other
    departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Conduct
    regular room inspections and monitor corrective actions to uphold the highest
    quality and maintenance standards.
  • Partner with People
    & Culture on recruitment, onboarding, performance management, coaching,
    succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Manage
    departmental payroll, operating expenses, and financial controls while ensuring
    cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Finance on auditing
    procedures, billing, commission payments, and outstanding account
    collections.
  • Foster strong relationships with guests,
    corporate partners, travel agents, and internal
    stakeholders.
  • Resolve guest concerns promptly, taking
    ownership to achieve effective and satisfactory outcomes while maximizing guest
    satisfaction.
  • Promote a positive, professional,
    and service-oriented culture, leading by example and encouraging continuous
    improvement.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety,
    fire, security, and local regulatory
    requirements.
  • Participate in management meetings, resort
    events, training programmes, and continuous development initiatives to support
    operational excellence.
