Key Duties &
Responsibilities

Within this, the key responsibilities for this position
are:

  • Supervise the daily operations of the restaurant
    and room service, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and efficient service
    delivery in line with Anantara standards.
  • Promote guest
    satisfaction by leading a motivated, service-oriented team and ensuring prompt,
    courteous, and personalised service at all times.
  • Monitor
    service standards throughout each shift, assisting with guest seating, service
    delivery, and communication with the kitchen to ensure a seamless dining
    experience.
  • Ensure smooth shift operations by completing
    opening and closing procedures in accordance with the Manager’s Checklist
    and established standards.
  • Train, coach, and support team
    members to maintain Anantara service standards and develop a positive,
    high-performing team environment.
  • Ensure compliance
    with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health & safety standards
    to maintain a safe environment for guests
    and colleagues.
  • Manage daily operational requirements,
    including staffing levels, floor plans, reservations, schedules, and station
    allocation to maximise efficiency.
  • Execute revenue
    and check control procedures accurately, ensuring proper handling
    of transactions and minimising discrepancies.
  • Resolve daily
    operational challenges, including staffing shortages, last-minute bookings,
    guest concerns, and service recovery
    opportunities.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor
    during service periods, ensuring adequate coverage and consistent delivery
    of quality food and beverage experiences.
  • Conduct regular
    inspections of outlet facilities and equipment, coordinating maintenance
    requirements through appropriate channels.
  • Ensure team
    members maintain professional grooming, uniform standards, and a consistent
    representation of the Anantara brand.
  • Support
    the implementation of effective training programmes for new and existing team
    members, encouraging continuous learning
    and development.
  • Build trust and respect within the team
    through effective communication, coaching, recognition, and fair performance
    management practices.
  • Encourage team members to take
    ownership and resolve guest concerns through empowerment and proactive
    service.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, including
    new ideas, incentive initiatives, and operational enhancements to improve guest
    satisfaction and business performance.
