KEY DUTIES
AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Anantara the Palm employees

colleagues. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position
are:

Strategic & Compliance

• Develop,
  implement, and continuously improve the EHS Management System across both
  properties.

• Ensure compliance with UAE legislation, Dubai
  Municipality, Civil Defense, and ISO 14001 & 45001
  standards.

• Lead internal audits, risk assessments, management
  reviews, and corrective actions.

Health, Safety
& Operations

• Investigate incidents, manage contractor
  safety, PTW, PPE, MSDS, and regulatory compliance.

• Conduct
  inspections across operational areas, ensuring food safety, water quality, pool
  safety, pest control, and safe working practices.

• Deliver
  safety inductions, emergency drills, first aid, and EHS training while promoting
  a strong safety culture.

Reporting &
Sustainability

• Maintain EHS documentation, prepare monthly
  KPI reports, and support ESG and sustainability
  initiatives.

• Drive environmental programs focused on reducing
  energy, water, and waste consumption.

People
Management

• Coordinate safety committees and departmental
  safety representatives.
