Key Duties &
Responsibilities

find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their colleagues.
Within this, the key responsibilities for this position
are:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the outlet, ensuring
    exceptional guest experiences, operational efficiency, and profitability in line
    with Anantara standards.
  • Support the achievement
    of departmental financial objectives through effective budgeting, revenue
    generation, cost control, and productivity
    management.
  • Forecast business levels and plan staffing
    requirements to ensure efficient operations and optimal service
    delivery.
  • Partner with the Learning & Development team
    to identify training needs, deliver departmental training, and foster continuous
    learning and development.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop
    managers, supervisors, and team members, promoting a high-performance culture
    and effective succession planning.
  • Ensure compliance
    with all brand standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), health, safety,
    hygiene, and sanitation requirements.
  • Manage scheduling,
    attendance, and labour costs while maintaining appropriate staffing
    levels.
  • Oversee the maintenance and proper use
    of departmental assets, equipment, and facilities, coordinating preventative
    maintenance where required.
  • Promote guest loyalty
    programmes and ensure team members actively support brand initiatives to enhance
    the guest experience.
  • Foster strong collaboration
    and communication with all hotel departments, particularly Banqueting
    and Events, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Lead
    by example through a hands-on management style, creating a positive work
    environment and motivating the team to achieve operational
    excellence.
