As our Meetings & Events Planning Manager , you'll lead an international
planning team and be responsible for everything from large international
conferences to gala dinners and rooftop drinks. You'll work closely with clients
and hotel teams to ensure every event is planned to perfection and delivered
with exceptional service. Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West and Amsterdam
Congress Center is a vibrant and colourful hotel and event venue, featuring 476
rooms and 21 meeting and event spaces . Conveniently located next to Amsterdam
Sloterdijk train station , the hotel is easily accessible for both guests
and team members by car and public transport .

Designed by renowned designer Karim Rashid, the hotel is part of the VEN
complex, sharing the building with Holland Casino and Limehome apartments.
The Amsterdam Congress Center offers a wide range of flexible meeting and event
spaces, including a 700-guest ballroom and a spectacular rooftop event space .
From intimate meetings to large conferences and events, the combination of
the hotel and Congress Center creates a dynamic and diverse working environment
where no two days are the same. Job Description Your key responsibilities Lead
and develop an international team of Meetings & Events Planners. Oversee
the planning and coordination of all meetings and events, ensuring a seamless
guest experience.

Drive departmental performance by achieving financial target and KPIs; Manage
the department budget, controlling costs while maximizing productivity. Coach
and support the team through regular feedback, training and development. Build
strong relationships with clients and internal departments to ensure successful
event delivery. Continuously improve planning processes and maintain compliance
with company, legal, health and safety standards. What’s in it for you?

The position offers a salary in scale 9 of the Dutch Hospitality CLA (CAO
Horeca), ranging from €3.600 to €4.600 gross per month, based on experience
and qualifications, for a 38-hour working week. 25 holidays per year (based
on FT employment, 38 hours per week); Excluding 8% holiday allowance, paid
in May; Possibility to work 1 day from home; You can use a company laptop
and phone while working with us; Industry pension plan (PH&C) and participation
in an additional pension plan; Travel allowance of €0.23 per km from 0 km (max

net per person who joins us). Qualifications Essential ingredients: Experience
in Meetings & Events planning, preferably within a large 4 star hotel
or hospitality environment. Experience in leading, coaching and developing
a team.

Strong planning, organisational and communication skills. Ability to manage
multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience
with budget management and monitoring departmental performance. Fluent
in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage. A degree
in Hospitality Management or a comparable qualification, or equivalent relevant
work experience.
