the same. As a Meetings & Events Planner, youâll work closely with clients
and our hotel teams to bring every event to life and make sure every detail
is taken care of. Park Inn by Radisson Amsterdam City West and Amsterdam
Congress Center is a vibrant and colourful hotel and event venue, featuring 476
rooms and 21 meeting and event spaces .
Conveniently located next to Amsterdam Sloterdijk train station , the hotel
is easily accessible for both guests and team members by car and public
transport . Designed by renowned designer Karim Rashid, the hotel is part of
the VEN complex, sharing the building with Holland Casino and Limehome
apartments. The Amsterdam Congress Center offers a wide range of flexible
meeting and event spaces, including a 700-guest ballroom and a spectacular
rooftop event space . From intimate meetings to large conferences and events,
the combination of the hotel and Congress Center creates a dynamic and diverse
working environment where no two days are the same. Job Description As a Meeting
& Events Planner, you will be the bridge between sales and the execution of our
meetings and conferences.
Once our sales colleagues have sold an event, the M&E Planning department takes
over, and you will ensure everything is perfectly organized. From processing
details to coordinating last-minute changes, you will keep everything in hand.
Our focus is on the corporate market, where you will be responsible
for flawlessly organizing meetings, conferences, and events in our Meeting &
Events Academy. With 21 modern meeting and event spaces , a spacious ballroom
for up to 750 guests , and our unique rooftop event space , you offer every
client a seamless and professional experience. In essence, you ensure
that everything agreed upon contractually runs smoothly at the hotel.
This means: Guiding site visits for potential clients/guests; Carefully planning
meetings and events; Knowing (or willing to learn) how to quickly implement
last-minute changes; Having preparatory conversations with the on-site contact
person; Ensuring that the operational departments (such as kitchen, F&B, Front
Office, Housekeeping) are aware of agreements and details; Making sure every
booker, contact person, or guest leaves satisfied and eager to book with
us again; Solving problems and handling complaints with the M&E Planning

of the Dutch Hospitality CLA (Horeca CAO), ranging from â¬2645 to â¬2850 gross
per month based on experience, for a 38-hour working week. Participation in

the Netherlands. Qualifications What you bring: A completed degree or comparable
qualification in Hospitality Management, Event Management, or a related field
at HBO level, or equivalent relevant work experience. Excellent command
of English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of an additional language is an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft
Office and experience working with a PMS or event management system. Ability
to learn and work with new systems effectively. Previous experience in Meetings
& Events or banquet sales, preferably within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment.
Strong problem-solving, communication and organisational skills, with
the ability to build professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in
