that go beyond hospitality. Role Purpose The Security Manager is a key leader
responsible for safeguarding the wellbeing, safety, and peace of mind of our
guests, associates, and property. This role ensures that all safety protocols,
emergency procedures, and risk management standards are implemented with
the highest level of professionalism, efficiency, and discretion, aligned
with luxury hospitality standards and Banyan Tree Veya philosophy.

The Impact of This Role This position plays a vital role in protecting
the integrity and reputation of the resort by ensuring a secure and controlled
environment. The Security Manager is responsible for: • Ensuring the safety
and security of guests, employees, and assets • Leading emergency response
preparedness and execution • Overseeing compliance with safety, health, and risk
management standards • Maintaining a proactive, prevention-focused security
culture Creating an environment where guests feel safe, cared for,
and completely at ease. Position Objective To lead and oversee all security
operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, efficient emergency
response, and a secure environment that supports seamless luxury experiences.
Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage departmental budgets and performance
strategies • Ensure full compliance with hotel policies, safety standards,
and security procedures • Lead, train, and supervise security team members,
fostering discipline and professionalism • Oversee emergency response protocols,
including fire, evacuation, and incident management • Maintain accurate
and timely security reports, logs, and documentation • Ensure proper handling
of Lost & Found processes • Coordinate with internal departments and external
authorities when required • Ensure compliance with occupational health
and safety standards and civil protection programs • Respond to incidents
with discretion, professionalism, and sound judgment • Promote a proactive
security culture aligned with guest experience excellence Critical Skills &
Qualifications • Proven experience in security management within hospitality
or similar environments (3–7 years) • Strong knowledge of health, safety,
and emergency procedures • Experience in fire safety systems, evacuation
protocols, and first aid (CPR preferred) • Excellent organizational
and problem-solving skills • Ability to perform under pressure and respond
to emergencies effectively • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact
with guests • English proficiency (intermediate to advanced preferred) •
Leadership presence with team management capabilities Development Path This role
