Data DevOps Engineer

Role:

We are seeking a Data
DevOps Engineer reporting to the Sales Platform Manager, to ensure
the stability, performance and scalability of Aman’s Salesforce platform
and data infrastructure. This role combines hands-on Salesforce development
(Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations) with DevOps ownership, including
CI/CD pipelines, release management, and environment
strategy.

Working closely with the Sales Platform Manager
and Data Engineering teams, you will support the development, deployment
and monitoring of data pipelines and platform enhancements, ensuring efficient
delivery and reliable, continuous
operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design
  and build custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC) and SOQL
  
• Develop integrations with external systems via REST/SOAP
  APIs
• Customize objects, data models, and user interfaces
  tailored to the end users
• Design, implement, and manage
  automated data infrastructure workflows, including CI/CD pipelines for data
  ingestion, transformation, and deployment
• Maintain
  and optimize build and release processes for data systems, ensuring repeatable,
  high-quality deployments
• Set up and maintain observability
  tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitor) to track data system
  performance, uptime and latency
• Implement and maintain log
  management and error alerting for proactive issue resolution
  
• Manage environment configurations for development,
  staging, and production data systems
• Coordinate system
  updates and performance optimization efforts with Data Engineering and
  IT Infrastructure
• Implement security best practices
  for data environments, including access control, encryption, and secure
  credential management
• Partner with IT Security and Legal /
  Compliance to ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations (e.g.,
  GDPR)
• Maintain audit logs and traceability across data
  environments to support governance requirements
• Support
  incident response procedures and conduct root-cause analyses for system outages
  or data loss
• Work closely with the Salesforce Platform
  Manager to translate architecture designs into deployable and maintainable
  infrastructure
• Maintain comprehensive documentation
  of configurations, deployment processes, and troubleshooting protocols
  

Requirements:

• Proven
  experience in CI/CD pipeline management and associated
  toolsets
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
  Systems or related technical field
• Strong experience
  with Salesforce development and building / operating / enhancing
  that environment
• Deep expertise across Salesforce modules
  (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Experience Cloud)
  
• Strong understanding of Salesforce data architecture,
  APIs, and integration frameworks
• Experience with Apex, LWC
  (Lightning Web Components), or Flow development
• Strong
  understanding of data pipeline orchestration, ELT frameworks (DBT, Matillion),
  and data warehouse management
• Manage source-driven
  development workflows and version control strategies using GitHub
  
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL, Python,
  Bash, or PowerShell for automation
• Experience
  with cloud-based data lakehouses (Snowflake, Databricks)
  
• Experience in a customer-focused industry a strong
  plus
