Role

We
are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Beverage Staff
(Bartender) to
join Janu Tokyo. This role is ideal for a dynamic hospitality
professional who thrives in a modern luxury environment and is committed
to delivering elevated beverage experiences.

As a Bartender, you will craft exceptional drinks, engage guests with warmth
and confidence, and contribute to creating an atmosphere that reflects Janu’s
spirit of connection, energy and contemporary luxury. You will play a key role
in shaping memorable moments at our bars and lounges while supporting smooth
daily operations.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare
    and serve a wide range of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine,
    and non‑alcoholic drinks in accordance with Janu standards
  • Deliver warm, intuitive and personalised service
    that enhances the guest experience
  • Engage with guests
    to understand preferences and provide thoughtful recommendations
  • Maintain bar mise‑en‑place, cleanliness and organisation
    to ensure efficient service flow
  • Manage inventory,
    restocking and requisitions while ensuring proper storage and handling of all
    beverages
  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene,
    and responsible alcohol service regulations
  • Collaborate
    closely with service teams, the kitchen and other departments to support
    seamless operations
  • Assist in menu development, seasonal
    beverage offerings, and creative drink presentation
  • Handle
    guest inquiries, feedback and special requests with professionalism
    and care
  • Support training and guidance for junior
    bartenders or bar support staff when required


Requirements

  • Minimum 3
    years of practical experience as a bartender
  • Practical experience in hotels, restaurants,
    cafés or similar facilities
  • Excellent
    communication skills
  • Conversational-level
    English proficiency (CEFR A2 or higher)
  • Advanced business-level Japanese proficiency
    (CEFR C1 or higher)
  • Basic PC skills including
    MS Office and typing
