· Scope of Work:
Under the general direction
of the Bell and Valet Supervisor and within the limits of established Aman Nai
Lert and local policies, the Bell and Valet Officer role is responsible
for providing and maintaining high standards of delivering stellar bell
and valet services to all our guests to create memorable hospitality experiences
throughout their stay, ensuring that “personalised service” is always at
the forefront of everything we do at all times. The role includes ensuring
the highest level of guest satisfaction in accordance with the policies,
standards, and guidelines established by the hotel and the corporate
office.

General:

Operational:
To ensure
the smooth operation of the Bell/ Valet team.
To ensure high
standards are delivered at all times.
To ensure that the Arrival
Lobby and surrounding areas are in immaculate and presentable
condition.
To be able to perform all Bell and Valet tasks
according to hotel policy and standard.
To check the daily
arrival list for all guests with special attention details. Recognize all
returning and VIP guests and extend a warm welcome back
gesture.
To ensure all in-house guests are greeted in the Arrival
Lobby with a warm professional friendly manner and anticipate their needs before
they arise and offer assistance at all times.
To ensure all
guests are greeted upon arrival and departure in a professional friendly
manner.
To ensure smooth process of handling guest luggage
from arrival point to room and from room to departure point on checkout and all
luggage movements are tagged and recorded.
To ensure
that efficient luggage storage, parcels and other objects for guests
are provided and to ensure accurate inventory of items on loan, and all items
are collected in time or before check-out.
For long-term luggage
storage, to ensure left luggage forms are filled in and duly signed by the guest
and all applicable policies are explained to the guest.
To ensure
all guest luggage, messages, letters, and parcels are distributed or collected
properly and accurately to/from the guest room according to hotel service
standards.
To ensure the lobby, bell store and work areas,
as well as departmental equipment are kept clean and presentable at all
times.
To ensure that valet parking service is provided according
to the hotel standards with care and utmost professionalism.
To
be in charge of newspaper service and ensure that the requested newspaper
is delivered in a timely manner.
To maintain an up-to-date
knowledge of the hotel daily services, amenities, activities, promotions,
and events.
To have a thorough understanding of all guest room
features, amenities, in room facilities, hotel venues and emergency
procedures.
To ensure that e-mail inquiries are handled in
a timely manner.
To stay updated on what’s happening in the hotel
area and Bangkok and to provide the guests with information. To be fully
acquainted with the different points of interest within the surrounding area
of the hotel and local attractions.
To assist the guests
or coordinate with the concerned areas on the guests’ requests and inquiries
throughout the guest’s journey.
To liaise with other sections
and/ or departments as well as necessary outside contracts to ensure excellent
service delivery.
For any guest requests, follow up call to
be made back to the guest to verify complete satisfaction.
To
keep accurate records of all arrangements and prepare confirmation for guests’
reference.
To run errands for guests when
necessary.
Transportation:
To
monitor and assist guests on transportation booking requests, especially promote
hotel transportation to maximize hotel transportation revenue and to communicate
with taxi drivers for the guest if local taxi is required.
To
ensure that the transportation options provided by the hotel are in accordance
with the Aman Nai Lert’s standards.
To ensure that the vehicles
are in presentable and immaculate conditions at all times.
To
perform vehicle inspections for all vehicles arranged by the hotel and that
the set-up is completed in accordance with the hotel standards.
Safety and Security:
To be fully aware of Hotel
Safety Procedures.
To fully understand and be able to utilise
the code of discipline as a guide to maintain a safe and secure work
environment.
Other
responsibilities:
To maintain a full working knowledge of
the IT support tools used in the world of front office today, including property
PMS, the Microsoft Office toolset.
To have a full understanding
on the SOPs in all Bell and Valet areas.
To ensure that all
administrative work is processed quickly
and efficiently.

Qualification/Training:
Degree/Diploma
in any discipline
Work
Experience:
Experience in hospitality, customer
service, client service fields.
Minimum 1 year as Bell/ Porter
in a similarly luxury hotel.
