Food & Beverage Hostess -Amangalla

Join our team in Amangalla. Amangalla lies
within the ramparts of Sri Lanka’s 17th-century Galle Fort, a Unesco World
Heritage Site. Offering views of the Fort and harbour on one side and
the hotel’s lush gardens and swimming pool on the other, the historic residence
presents lofty-ceilinged suites, elegant dining and a tranquil Aman Spa complete
with Hydrotherapy Suites.

Role

Provide a warm welcome
to guests as the first point of contact in the restaurant. Manage reservations
and influence guests to dine with us. Ensure smooth restaurant operation
by leading guests to their seats and managing waiting lists
effectively.

Responsibilities

*Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival, managing
reservations and seating charts efficiently.

* Escort guests to their
tables and present menus, introducing their dedicated server.
* Answer
phone calls promptly, handling reservations, inquiries, and special event
requests with professionalism.
* Coordinate closely with service
and kitchen staff to ensure a smooth, well-paced flow of guests.

*Address
guest feedback or concerns at the door immediately, escalating to management
when necessary.

* Farewell departing guests with a warm smile, ensuring
their final impression of the venue
is exceptional.

*
Proven experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or similar front-of-house role
within a premium restaurant or luxury hotel.
* High school diploma
or equivalent hospitality certification.
* Exceptional communication skills
with absolute fluency in English.
* Strong interpersonal skills and
a naturally warm, engaging, and confident personality.

* Excellent
grooming and presentation standards aligned with luxury
hospitality.
