Scope of Work:

The Housekeeping
Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of
the housekeeping team. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring high
standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, managing resources,
and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.


Responsibilities and Duties:

I. Staff Management
& leadership:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities
    of room attendants and other housekeeping staff.
  • Assign cleaning tasks
    and sections to the team based on daily occupancy and special
    needs.
  • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and motivation to team
    members.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
    for all shifts.
  • Follow with Housekeeping SOP and hotel to achieve
    goal.

II.

Quality Control & Standards:

  • Conduct regular and thorough
    inspections of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas (e.g., lobby, restrooms,
    elevators) to ensure they meet the hotel's standards.
  • Check
    for cleanliness, proper room setup, and the condition of furniture, fixtures,
    and amenities.
  • Provide immediate feedback to staff on their performance
    and correct any deficiencies.

III. Operational
Duties:

  • Manage and monitor the inventory of cleaning supplies, guest
    amenities, and linen.
  • Ensure all cleaning equipment is in good working
    condition and report any maintenance issues.
  • Oversee the handling
    of guest laundry and special requests, ensuring timely and accurate
    service.
  • Ensure all staff follow established procedures for handling
    guest lost-and-found items.
  • Understand OPERA system, HOTSOS
    Program.
  • Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
  • Adequate
    amount of ordering and control housekeeping supply.
  • Prepare
    and distribute daily room assignment sheets for housekeeping attendants
    in Morning and Turndown service.
  • Assign special job and follow
    up.

IV. Guest and Inter-Departmental
Communication:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests
    and complaints related to housekeeping services.
  • Communicate with
    the front desk and engineering departments to coordinate room readiness, report
    issues, and ensure seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain a positive
    and collaborative working relationship with all hotel departments

V.
Health and Safety:

  • Enforce and monitor all health, safety,
    and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper use, keep clean
    panty, maid trolly and storage of cleaning chemicals
    and equipment.
  • Conduct safety briefings and training to prevent
    accidents and injuries.
