Spa Therapist - Amanjena

Location Overview
Join our team in Amanjena.
Inspired by the rose-hued buildings of old Marrakech, palatial Amanjena
is close to the fabled Red City, set in its own expanse of gardens and grand
open spaces. Shaded courtyards with fountains lead to the central basin,
bordered by spacious standalone Pavilions & Maisons, many with private
pools. Views stretch across the olive groves and palms of the oasis, extending
to the High Atlas Mountains on the horizon.

Role

A Spa
Therapist’s mission is to determine and perform treatments designed to maintain
and enhance a person's physical appearance: beauty treatments, facials, body
treatments, massages, manicures and pedicures, hair removal, body wraps, etc.
They must also participate in advising on and selling beauty products,
considering the client's
preferences.

Responsibilities

• Identify
  the client's needs (examine the body part to be treated) and determine
  the appropriate treatments
• Explain A la carte treatments
• Advise
  on and present aesthetic products and services appropriate to the client's
  needs
• Comply with the set-up procedures for both branded and non-branded
  treatments
• Follow the reception protocol and in-room procedures (before
  and after treatments)
• Perform treatments
• Record details of all
  treatments taken by each client and send feedback to the spa reception
  desk
• Receive and follow opening and closing checklists
• Place
  linens in treatment rooms and changing rooms, as well as products, according
  to established standards
• Understand and anticipate guest
  needs
• Be attentive, accurate, and respond promptly to guest
  requests
• Ensure proper treatment room cleaning after each
  treatment
• Reset up treatment rooms after each treatment
• Follow
  the instructions, treatment schedules, and schedules established by the SPA
  Manager
• Comply with the hotel's internal rules and regulations
  and Spa standards
• Maintain an appropriate attitude to reflect
  and promote the Spa's image
• Constantly monitor personal
  hygiene
• Maintain uniform in good condition
• Ensure
  the cleanliness of equipment in
  the cabin

Requirements

• Certification
  in Therapies and treatments.
• 1–3 years of experience as a therapist,
  preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Good Proficiency in English
  and French.
• Exceptional interpersonal and guest relations
  abilities.
• Flexible and adaptable, and strong attention
  to detail.
