Role
We
are seeking an experienced and service driven Security Manager to join
Janu Tokyo. This role is suited for a hospitality professional who thrives in
a dynamic luxury environment and who brings both operational strength and
a genuine passion for personalised service.
Your job is to keep all guests, staff, and visitors safe and comfortable, all
while supporting Janu’s vibrant style. You will run all security operations,
making sure safety stays woven into the guest experience without losing any
warmth or privacy. This job is about leading the team each day, inspiring your
people, and working closely with other departments to keep everything running
smoothly and safely.
Responsibilities
- Make sure
all safety and security operations follow Janu, Aman, and local
standards - Keep guests, staff, and property safe through
careful risk management - Oversee daily security patrols,
monitoring, incident response, and reporting - Lead, coach,
and develop your security team - Handle shift schedules
and make sure every shift is covered - Respond quickly
and thoughtfully to emergencies and incidents - Work
with Rooms, Engineering, HR, and other teams to keep safety plans tight
and effective - Stay on top of safety, fire, and emergency
rules and standards - Develop and update security procedures,
risk assessments, and ways to get better - Prepare incident
reports and keep records straight - Build a culture where
everyone’s tuned in to safety
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years
of practical security experience in large places such as hotels, malls,
hospitals, or similar - Minimum 5 years of practical
experience in a luxury hotel environment - Practical
experience as a manager - Practical knowledge of labour
management and practical experience in shift
scheduling - Excellent leadership and communication
skills - Business conversational level English proficiency
(CEFR B1 or higher) - Advanced business-level Japanese
proficiency (CEFR C1 or higher) - Advanced PC skills
including MS Office and typing
